Rope Training

Today Andy Glynn and I agreed that rope training will be classroom and ground work only  No repelling off the tower will be done until the JOH&S committee meets and agrees on a few things.

Last week a member was dropped ten feet while being lowered.  We have agreed to review the rope training.

FYI  What happened is clear.  The firefighter was dropped ten feet.  The crew along with CTO Craibbe duplicated this four times using a dummy. We are told that in the opinion of some this was human error.  We will see about that.

Something is wrong weather is be a training procedure or whatever.  Anyways no repelling of the tower for training please
